In My Mailbox 33 + Weekly Wrap-Up

Before I start of with my IMM this week I'd like to make something clear I've noticed that a few people who normally comment on my IMM have stopped because I'm in face still using In My Mailbox. So I'd like to make a few points as to why thats really annoying to me. First I'm not backing up Kristi's actions in any way but her meme In My Mailbox is one of the memes that basically made my blog it's what got me 90% percent of my followers and it still gives me most of my followers and viewers. So if it was doing all this for my blog why would I stop? You can't blame me for wanting to keep my blog afloat. Also another thing now before I say this I'm not trying to start any drama nor am I singling out anyone because I understand the reason why everyones doing it so don't take this personally but technically everyone who is still doing book hauls or anything like that is still plagirisng because your doing the exact same thing except using a different name.

Now that my rant is over let's get on with the book haul shall we? This week I got nothing in the mail and I didn't buy anything so all I can show you is e-books which means all I have is pictures this week! I hope you guys enjoy!

  6. Beautiful haul. I like E-Books as well. I can't seem to pass up the freebies. I think my E-books TBR surpasses my print TBR pile.

  7. I did get Exiled off of Amazon. I forgot to add that one in. I usually don't add my freebie's in. Some weeks I can get over 25 of them. So I haven't done it.

Have a great week of reading!

  28. I definitely agree that plagarizing is wrong but I don't think starting up random versions of IMM is the answer either. I've been hearing great things about Code Name Verity. I hope you enjoy it too :]

  29. What a nice batch of books!

Exiled has such a gorgeous cover. Clockwise is a cute story. Hope you emjoy!

  31. Like you, I love the cover for The Light Tamer too. It's very pretty. So is the cover for Exiled. hope you enjoy them all!

  32. It's not plagiarism. I am sorry, but you are totally wrong. Book hauls have been around much longer than Kristi has been. Also, she got her inspiration from someone else when she started IMM to begin with. Is no one allowed to start up their own meme after being inspired by her? There are a lot of similar features out there. Not plagiarism. Just people wanting another outlet to share their books without showing support to a plagiarist by linking up to her site.

  33. I'm sorry people have stopped commenting on your IMM, but I have to disagree. Featuring our own book haul memes is in NO WAY plagiarism.

  34. Netgalley is like a child being let loose in a sweetshop, very tempting indeed. I've had to restrain myself recently.

The cover for Exile is so gorgeous, I keep noticing new things going on in it.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on My Showcase Sunday post

  36. Oohhh Exiled!! I got that one for free too. Isn't the cover so gorgeous? I'm currently reading Code Name Verity and I'm having trouble getting into it. Maybe it's because I find it a tad boring -_-

I don't mind that you're still using the IMM meme, I myself just won't participate in it. Thanks you for dropping by hun! Sorry I'm late lol
